19:48:09 [Shia] Seem to linger as she walked down the hall, the day that it was close to even seem to bug her. Why someone could get bugged with a day after today? Well it's easy, it was Feb. 13th which meant the next day was Valentine's Day. Sure it was a nice day with pinks, reds and whites. But most people would either couple up and get all mushy, could that really be a day for Shia? At this time she really didn't think so, for where she was heading? Toward the Dining Hall, she was hungry and it seem to be around lunch time or was it dinner? She hadn't been around besides her classes, so now she seem lost in thought to her world. Her hair was pulled linging back in a french braid, only stands of bangs falling freely within her face. How she was dressed was simple; a dark purple halter top, that seem to have a slight pushy bust area to it. It had a corset look to it. Black schoolish girl skirt to dance against her hips, and calf high dress high heel boots. A smile teased her lips as well, pushing the doors open. Shia would make her way over toward a table, sitting down with her legs smoothly crossing. Going about getting a bit of food to nibble on.
19:51:43 Belle had gotten somewhat accustomed to her new school. Since her arrival, she had found no luck in finding acquaintances besides another fourth year student who seemed to follow her around since the young Siren made herself seem confident and all knowing. She had given in after the fourth day of being followed by the girl, finding it rather amusing she had someone who she could rant to about and whatever else she pleased. Marisabel and the other student were seen in the library as she had fussed about going outside where other students seemed willingly to hang out there. "Do you know what the cold does to my sinuses? It's so unattractive to go outside while the wind is blowing straight in your face, drying your eyes out and making your nose run to where you end up rubbing it and looking like a sick fool," she muttered in a fuss to the 'friend' of hers. The soft sound of papers turning broke the silence as she watched the girl nod and hide her face under her blonde curls. "You will never understand the problems of getting sick, I have to be careful. But lucky you, Anna, you don't get sick," Marisabel huffed and sat back in the plush chair to cross her ankles after sitting up with her back against the pillow, an elbow propped on the arm of the chair and her cheek pressed into her open palm that cupped around her face as she shifted her dark brown eyes around the room, "I don't want to read right now..."
20:18:36 [Seth] Valentines day was fast approaching, and yes there was reason for even him to dislike it. He, like many of the other less popular kids, didn't feel the need at first to celebrate a season where everybody hooked up before his eyes and took to the yearly trend of sucking face abundantly until it all came crashing down by St. Patty's day. Truthfully, deep down, Seth at one point had wished to find a valentine. Never having one over the years was a heartbreaker in that department. He never lost hope though, and this year, he wasn't out to celebrate anything for himself. Christmas brought him to see the kind of fun friends had together, and for that, he was greatful to at least make an event to spread a little spirit about Hex. Once he had managed to receive formal permission to promote the guru of love in the hubbub, the Hearty Party was officially a go! The Great Hall was filled with people congregating between their classes, as per usual, but Seth had long since eaten, and was single-handedly off to the side assembling a stage along the left wall. He wasn't anticipating on anything big of a turn out, and thanks to people already hyped on asking each other who was crushing on who, not a lot of eyes bothered to see what Master McDreads was up to. Little did he know though, that since Christmas, there was a new name going around the small talk of favored Ethers in the hearts of seniors since the slumber party. Sighing softly to himself, still garbed in his uniform with intent to get to classes on time, he took a big step up onto the stage to test its durability. He paced about, looking down at the floor and nodding when things seemed to not crash under him. "Righteous," he said to himself with an approving nod, and hopped back down to start working on pushing several giant speakers about the open space, intending to have them set on either side of the rise. He was oblivious to everyone around him, clearly motivated and in his own little world.
20:31:34 [Chase] The Iowa farmboy, with his shaggy black curls moved through the stacks in the Library, his eyes roving the shelves with the kind of familiarity only one who spent a lot of time there could have. His hands tugged down old and dusty tomes from the shelves, puffing out his cheeks and blowing the dust from the age-yellowed pages. He already had a number of obscure books gathered in his arms and he added one more to the stack before he made his way through the maze to one of the seating areas that could be used for studying. He looked and saw a familiar face and, well, a completely new one. He arched a brow, moving to a plush armchair not too far from them. His warm chestnut eyes examined the two girls. Chase was dressed in the typical school uniform, well, it wasn't so typical in the fact that he was wearing a vest with his suit-uniform. Everyone had the option of vest or sweatervest, though most of the guys chose not to wear either. The American was just a fan of a three-piece suit. He looked to the new girl and grinned and she dropped into his chosen armchair, "Don't pout, Princess. Someone could be falling in love with your smile." He grinned, dropping the stack of books off to one side of the chair and then picking up the one off the top. The peeling gold letters on the spine was far too long and convoluted to make too much sense of at this distance, but mostly it was a book on spellcasting theory.
20:52:09 Belle picked her head up at the sound of a masculine voice that played in her ear to let her eyes see the face that went along with the voice. Marisabel's eyes first noticed the beautiful curls of the man, her eyebrows rising in interest at the sight of this new face. Her back straightened up in the natural arch it gave, her lips parting to inhale, "I don't need to smile to make someone fall in love with me." The cockiness of Marisabel showed as she gave a crooked smirk, her legs moving to rub against one another as she crossed one over the other and her fingers laced together to hold her top knee in her palms. "I could simply make you fall in love with me right now," she purred as her eyes hungrily stared at him.
21:10:58 [Chase] A chuckle passed his lips at her reply, his eyes twinkling in amusement. He leaned back, setting the book in his lap to let his arms rest in their proper place when one is sitting in an armchair, "Siren, huh? Well, you could abuse your gift like that, but the teachers here are pretty brutal with Sirens who use their powers for personal gain. And all the teachers have had mental training to resist a Siren's gifts." Oh no. The only person who got their way at Hex was Luthor. At least he was the only person who consistently got his way. He shifted in his seat as he looked at the new girl, "I'm Chase Matheson. Crux. I'd shake your hand, but this chair is really too comfortable." Well, that and he didn't want to get too close to a girl who seemed ready and willing to abuse her Siren gifts for her own benefit. He had no idea for sure, but he'd once heard a rumor that the closer you are to a Siren the more powerfully their gift worked on you.
21:34:03 Belle lighted up in confidence when he stated her race, Marisabel grew up with always seeing the perks of her abilities. The chatter Chase spoke about after that made her wiggle in her seat to become more comfortable and sink into the chair that made her look smaller than she was. "I was only teasing, I've had my fun with my gifts," she seemed to remember at a young age how she took advantage of having people swooning over her and taking advantage of her father to get whatever she pleased. She snapped back to hear his introduction and she relaxed her face to a smile, and a casual giggle. "Chase, the name fits you well. I'm Marisabel Blake, I'm in Tritus," she replied back and moved her hands to slide up her legs and land in her lap as they laid properly with one over the other, though her fingers started fidgeting at a slow pace as she spoke in a soft tone, "I have to admit I adore your hair, Chase."
21:49:27 [Chase] His grin was immediate when she admitted that she had already had her fun with her gifts and, well, he couldn't say he blamed her. If he had been a Siren, there were a loooooot of things he would have done with that particular power. One thing, in particular, jumped out at him, but then if he went the route that he was thinking of, it would ruin everything. He was shaken from his reverie when she said his name fit him and he arched a brow, head tilting, listening to the rest of what she said and he laughed openly, "You know, that's honestly the first time I've ever heard that. I mean, yeah I have a great head of hair, but no one's ever commented on it before. I'm just glad I don't have the tightly packed curls my grandpa had. I'd look ridiculous with a Jewfro." He winked, then backtracked, "But why would you say Chase is a fitting name for me, Marisabel Blake of House Tritus?" He was honestly curious. People had some preconcieved notion of what guys named Chase are like? If so he'd never heard of it.
21:57:49 [Seth] The Great Hall still bustled with life while Seth was on his own track, pushing together several giant amplifiers and walking behind the makeshift set to start with the wiring. While he did that, if people hadn't already ripped them off the walls there would be papers posted about the corridors on flat slabs of slone that gave the brief details. The Hearty Party. Celebrating the essence of love, and the souls that it brings together. It hightlighted in simple detail the process. Have a valentine you want to give someone in the form of music and song, but yet didn't have the talent (or guts) to lay it out? Throw requests to Seth Lancaster. A formal dinner & dance will take place the night of the cupid. Free complimentary tie and corsage to be given to the couples honored ( in red, pink, or white of course ). Once the wiring was complete, Seth appeared once again and grabbed his guitar case, hoisting it off the Crux bench where he sat earlier to set it on stage. He made several trips meters away on his own to bring other smaller items to the setup. Music and microphone stand, several papers, and his schoolbag. He still was intending on heading to class when it was time, after all. He assembled the little odds and ends while people continued about their business, eventually popping open one of his sentimental treasures that made up his personal belongings. Taking up his acoustic guitar he pulled the strap over his shoulder, one hand around the neck while the other sorted out some papers on the music stand. After a little tuning of the strings, he plugged up and began jamming on the instrument, idly tapping his foot for a rhythm and nodding his head while his ears basked in the sound of the music echoing off the walls to tease his eardrums. It sounded fantastic in here!
22:16:06 Belle resisted closing in on the space that was inbetween them to be more into the conversation. Marisabel sat up in the chair to turn her body so she would lean back against the other arm to face Chase full profile and her legs curled up into chair with her hands tugging her uniform to stay down and respectful. Her face expressed amusement as a grin painted on her lips and she revealed her teeth in a muffled giggle. "Oh I love curly hair!" she commented and silenced herself to bite her bottom lip at his wink. Her lip escaped the grasp of her front teeth for her to canter her head and a single brow rose as she heard the sound of her name pass his lips. "People have names that suit them, say maybe you didn't tell me your name and I had to guess. I could go through names that looked to fit you in some form or fashion. Just as you might go through some when guessing mine." Her eyes glanced toward the entrance of the library as soft tunes of music echoed at a low volume in her ears, till she looked back to Chase if he was to speak after.
22:38:24 Erinn had had a rather uneventful day for the most part, it was boring and people were going crazy over Valentine's Day, she was tired of Singles Awareness Day and all the hype it brought out. She was single and was starting to hate that fact more often than not as of late but she kept that to herself and just smirked at all the sappy couples that seemed to be extra lovey on each other lately. She picked at her food a bit in the Great Hall but wasn't really hungy, a smirk touched her lips as she saw Seth and listened to him for a while but soon she headed to him as he was seeming to slow down, "Hey, did you want to hit the Loch and work on your stamina like you mentioned earlier?" she asked him, not sure if he was ready to try that out now or if he wanted to wait till another time, she wasup for it or she was fine with just hanging out for a bit. She didn't plan to go to her afternoon classes, but knowing him and his eager to learn and goodie two shoes attitude, he wasn't about to join her in skipping out on class which was fine to her, she was content on her own but she figured she could at least help him while they had a break or plan for later, she was a busy girl afterall.
22:51:45 [Seth] Seth's little jam session on the makeshift stage wasn't planning on lasting too long. He was merely testing things to see how they worked. Sound check number one. At least he had one before the event tomorow night. Eventually the upbeat strumming gradually slowed down, while the young man stared down at the guitar and paid close attention to the strings he plucked away at with his fingers. His head vibing (that motion that was almost like a forward nod) hunkered down, and soon his leg stopped boucing to a rhythm, ceasing his swaying when Erinn spoke up to him. He immediately unplugged, lips conjuring a half-witted smirk at her. "Man, you sound pretty eager to go somewhere," he said, quirking an eyebrow before pulling the leather strap back over his head, and setting his guitar back into its case to close it up, taking a knee to secure it. "I still got classes and all that, but I mean we can always go after. That was my plan at least." Still, fact was there was plenty of time before he had to vamos. "We can hang though. I mean I've been working on the setup for the past like.. hour and a half. I could use the break." Seth hopped down and exhaled, turning to face Erinn. He smiled warmly, though the tilt of his head established a little curiousity. "Did you wind up goin' to your morning classes?" After their talk early in the morn, he figured she may of skipped. It wasn't like he was going to chew her out for it though. Just a means to talk about something going on. Frankly the Hearty Party was getting overwhelming enough as is. There was a sheet of paper at the end of the Crux table that people were gathering at after hearing the acoustics, scribbling down the would-be setlist for Seth's little event tomorrow.
23:52:28 [Suki] Moving down the steps, there was a slight bounce to it. Those soft wild locks of hair dance down her shoulders. She was in the required uniform, with the color tie of maroon and green to it. Clearly the colors of the Crux house of choice. Her movement was a light elegant in step, down the stairs and toward the Great Hall. A smile seem to linger upon her lips, as her rich mocha brown eyes was taken upon her surroundings. It seem she was looking around for someone, but who was she looking for? A friend she had made since she was in the house, the two had shared at both being Fae. Even though they were perhaps far different from one another. If one was to gaze toward the back of her, her blouse had a cut out to show a bit of skin. It revealed a tattoo against her skin, looking much like fairy wings in design. Moving her fingers through her long hair, she would brush it off to the side. Resting over her left shoulder, as she gazed around. Her mind lingering, mostly to music she tend to enjoy, and what she liked to hear. Suki was getting closer to the Great Hall, she had nod to a few people she had came to pass. None she knew personally. But it wasn't bad no, she at least was nice to those around her. Unless they wanted to piss her off. Walking into the Great Hall, she had been glancing around. It wasn't until she noticed a group, and Seth with another person. Erinn. It wasn't one she knew right off. "HEY SETH!?" she had raised her arm to wave toward him a moment. Soon begun to make her way toward the group. That coy little smile still upon her soft lips, as she looked toward those near a piece of paper. Knowing actually what it was, was really no matter. She just seem to be a girl going solo to the thing, but that could change if she had wanted it to.
00:07:46 [Seth] The silence spoke for itself on Erinn's part. She more than likely cut class. Shaking his head but keeping a small grin on his features, the Crux went to move a few things around off to the side of the stage he had assembled. "You should really look into that. I mean, don't we get punished if we don't do assignments or perform well enough in class? I wouldn't want to get on a professor's bad side." Lucky for Seth that he had made that adjustment before entering the halls. He never saw a detention or a disciplinary lesson to grow from. He didn't need it. He was one of those few students who had been exceling in all of his classes, living like most of their society would expect an Ether to live. Out of the blue, another voice picked up behind him, even so much as calling his name. Straightening up in stance, he slowly turned to find a hand waving, and a skip in a particular housemate's step as she came over to him. "Suki!" Before his corruption on Christmas night, Seth only had enough pals to count on his own two hands. Most of them, like Mila, Chase, and Suki, were housemates. He caught her smile, and reflected one such back at her. He may of known how to smile coyly like other fae, but he sure as heck never tried playing it. "Whatt's good, hon?" he asked, adding a sarcastic upnod. Some thought he talked like one of the cool kids, so why not mellow and be chill? Question out in the air he set his hands on the edge of the stage behind him, and hoisted himself up to sit. Legs dangled freely, and hands folded together at his lap. That welcoming smile remained, hazel hues glancing between Erinn and Suki. "Oh! Erinn, this is Suki. One of my housemates. Suki, this is Erinn. She's from Tritus but we've been pretty chill since Christmas." May as well do something useful to avoid any awkward confrontation. Behold! They were no longer strangers, at least by Seth's book.
00:32:36 [Suki] Hearing her name coming off his lips, it was rather refreshing. Then that charming smile curved over that little coy smirk. "Everything is all good with me, being that angel that I am." giving a playful wink toward Seth within that moment. That little up nod was given back to him. Watching as he was moving up to hop onto the stage to sit, she would look toward Erinn that seem to hold a silences for the moment. But he had introduced them a little bit. "Nice to meet you, Erinn." as she would speak it lightly, giving another smile as well. Before her gaze would linger back over to Seth, "Playing hard?" asking as she had noticed the set up for the band. Moving her right hand up, to comb her fingers through her hair. Mostly get it out of her eyes, and she would move over to Seth's right side. Before hopping up on the Stage to sit beside him. Giving a playful nudge against his shoulder, "So Seth, you got a date for tomorrow?" asking the question wasn't hard. But it was the next question that was lingering within her mind. It was the moment, she was pondering what his reply would be. However, her eyes linger toward him fully. She was hoping for an answer she might like. She had loved listening to his music, and watching him play. So perhaps she had a chance in what she was thinking about. If Seth had answer no, a smile stay upon her lips more. "Well if you don't got a date, want to go with me?" a bold step in asking of course. But it was how she rolled perhaps? Or it was just she wanted to get the question out of the way.
00:44:44 [Seth] "Of course! Righteous!" Of course he understand what that thought was like, to be an angel. He preferred calling himself that over the majority of the faerie breed behind his Ether. Course, he had seen Suki take flight in their second phys. ed. classroom. She probably meant angel in another context Lips quirked while Suki greeted Erinn, and Seth's eyes followed those words to cast a glance at the Mer, watching her carefully for a time. It was when Suki spoke to him again that he returned his attention to her, gesturing with a thumb over the shoulder at just the one guitar case. "Well, it's not really finished yet. Waiting for the piano to get here, and then I'm supposed to talk to Leon about drumming with me like old times and all." He smiled, but then came a question he didn't expect. He froze in the moment, eyes squinting as if he didn't quite undestand. What was she trying to... oh, there it was. His confusion was answered with a more direct question, making him go wide-eyed a moment. Maybe she didn't see the flyers carefully about the event. "Oh! Erm.. I'm actually kinda.. hosting this whole thing. It was my idea," he said, casting his eyes to the floor and reaching up to pick at the dreads that were tied back in a tail behind his head. "It'd be pretty lame to be up on stage anyway with a.. date kinda just sitting there. I'd feel bad, y'know?" He paused, offering a condoling smile to Suki before reaching a hand out to rest on her leg. "You know, you're the first person to ask me though. I didn't really expect to have a valentine at all this year, just like every other year, so I just felt like at least making the most of the season for everyone else in the school. Keeps me from feelin' down on Singles Awareness Day, y'know?" Seth thought for a moment, glancing behind him at his guitar case. As much as it felt pretty rad to have someone ask him this, it was also awkward enough for him at the same time to wanna just do something else. It wasn't like he was ready to shoo one of his best friends away, though. His eyes moved back to look at her, hand still resting on her and rubbing her thigh gently. "Don't worry about it. I mean if anything you can still come anyway and when I'm off the stage we can chill or something. I've been actually practicing my gift of making things move with my mind. Hence the piano.. so that way there's at least music without a band up there. Gives me some time to hang out with friends and all." Seth actually had this thing pretty well thought up with the way he was scheduling it. Genius, actually.
01:04:39 [Suki] Noticing the confused look upon his face for a moment, but it was when she asked the exact question. He had seem rather surprised of course, and listening to him a moment she smirked. The touch of his hand coming to rest upon her leg, she would shake her head. "Seth, you wouldn't have to say no. I know all your songs with your band you know, I could back up sing. I do have a great voice. I just tend to let it be heard outside rather in a closed off room. Also the shower thinks my voice is rad." laughing a bit as she would smile. Glad she was actually the first to ask him. It wasn't as bad as she thought it was. "Heck I will come, what kind of a friend would I be if I wasn't the number one fan." winking toward him with another smile. Shaking her head, "How do you think I'll be, I'm going to be in that Singles Awareness Day. I stand out. Remember." laughing a bit. No matter how it was going Suki was in a good mood after all. As a few of her soft locks of hair falling into her face as she glanced down, to his hand resting upon her thigh. Suki never felt awkward around him, perhaps it was his persona about him that draw her to him and all. "Plus we can hang out anytime. And Seth, if you need help with getting the piano here. I'll be more then willing to do so." Thinking a bit as she would smile once more, and lean over kissing Seth's cheek. A soft pink begun to take over her cheeks at that moment, to gaze away. She had hardly blushed around him, here she was turning red in her cheeks. This was the moment, that she was gazing down. Gazing upon the flower as she thought a bit. A soft smile still caressing her lips.
01:23:38 [Seth] Without much of a head on how to register what she may of been trying to say to him, Seth sat still and focused more on his own choice of words. He listened as best he could, but since her asking him for the date he almost felt like she more fragile than she appeared to be. Just how deep did that question mean to her? It was left to speculation, and it almost worried him. He felt like he were on a minefield. One wrong move, one wrong word, he may as well of lost one of his best friends. Alas, he was overthinking it. He just didn't realize it yet. "I bet the shower wants to punch the next chick in the head that tries to sing to it too. Be like, lady you cray cray!" He laughed, taking his hand off her leg to slap the air with a gesture to go with his humour. It certainly kept his glass half-full. When she spoke of standing out, he nodded some in understanding. "You always stood out though, Suki. I mean I didn't even really stand out until this past Christmas, even with being on the house team and all. Standing out? Yeah, it's awkward for me right now, but hey! At least now I finally feel like I'm fitting in a lot more. It's funny how like.. before the shifter jocks were all wanting to rip my dreads out one by one and fling them at unsuspecting first years like it was crap, but now they know my name and pat my shoulder in the halls. And girls, well.." He paused at that, feeling her lips brush his cheek. He straightened up in a flash at that, eyes widened for just a split second. Was did that mean? Gah! So confusing. "Girls just.. they look at me differently now. Before they just turned away or didn't care but like.. now they look at me and giggle, some even look like they're about to pass out. I have no idea what that means exactly, but they'e friendly all of a sudden over taking the chance and going out there and just.. being me. Y'know? Nothing wrong with going to the Hearty Party without a date to cling to." Smiling, he looked down, muttering something near incoherantly to himself. "Sometimes I've thought about what it'd be like, though.. to be clung to and all." He watched his feet that swayed loosely in the air, making a kicking motion but not aiming for anything in particular.
01:40:18 [Suki] When Seth started talking about the shower wanting to punch the next chick that tried to sing to it. It only caused her to laugh more, and her cheeks still hold that soft red hue to them. Slightly glancing toward him, a she would shake her head. "You stood out to, just you didn't know it until then. Your one of a kind, that's for sure." It was rather cute when he stuck up for her, without really realizing it. It wasn't that bad as she would listen to him. How others use to be around him, and all. But one couldn't really blame them right, each person different and took to the other race differently. However she would watch a he had straighten up when she had kissed his cheek. Curiousity touched her thoughts, on how he would of reacted if she stole a kiss from his lips. However she rolled her eyes and would listen to him about girls, perhaps she really didn't care cause well. She saw it as foolish cause, if they didn't like him for who he was before? Why change it now? Biting lightly upon her lower lip she thought, to slide off the stage. Suki would soon move, and slip between Seth's legs since he was sitting there. Moving her hand up to lift his chin to look into her eyes. "If you want someone to cling to you, why don't you ask a girl out. Like on a date or even to be a girlfriend. I'm sure a girl be all for it." even she would, but she couldn't say that to him of course. Cause she had been all butterflies before when she asked him about a date, now this. But soon her hand would move from his chin, as she lightly felt the pink coming to her cheeks once more. Clearing her throat, as she would glance away. To have her soft locks to fall into her face now, oh now what could she say huh?
01:55:41 [Seth] "Well, everybody's one of a kind. It's not really possible for even twins to be the same," he said, clearly not seeing much in the way of the compliment. Still, he kept a small but subtle smile on his features as it faded down overtime. Him mentioning the thought of clinging made him start longing like he did at times when he was alone. He curled his bottom lip into his mouth, nipping it gently to keep his thoughts down. Or try to, at least. He then caught a body moving into his sight, staring birds eye from Suki's chest, right down to her feet as she placed herself between his legs. He remembered when he was in a position like this before, and at the time he was very nervous about.it. Now? Not so much. It was different, but it wasn't unsettling. Hazel hues were guided up to look into Suki's eyes. He was easily readable through them. The longing was there, with the way his gaze just bouced from one eye to the other. Ask a girl out? "What, now? Over Valentines? Is that's a little.. desperate?" he asked, blinking slowly. "And even then like.. okay, there are times when I feel like I want to ask a chick out. But then I see how couples work around here. Most times it just doesn't work out, and then it becomes a war with all their friends to take sides and stuff, and.. I don't know." Seth sighed, and his smile vanished. Frowning, his eyes starting trying to drift from hers, looking to the giant set of doors. It'd be his only getaway if he had to run from this conversation. "Maybe I'm just worried more about what I'd lose in the what if, than what I'd gain from it anyway." His hands reached out, resting on Suki's sides to hold her at the hips, keeping her close. This position was awfully familiar. His shoulders tensed, but the fact that he was breathing deeply showed he was trying to put an effort to remain comfortable.
02:12:40 [Suki] Not truly minding his gaze when it was upon her bust, but she had guide his eyes up. It was how he was looking at her, and begun to speak. "You do realize Seth, you just called me desperate.." speaking softly as she would continue to listen to him. Understanding full and well what he was going on about, it was what could be lost if something went wrong. The feeling she could lose a friendship, it would suck really. And she was rather close to one of her best friends at this moment. To have his hands coming to rest upon her hips. The slight tension against his body, she could feel it and she would hake her head. Suki moved her hands gently as she would wrap them around his sides. Leaning in, hugging him as she rest her head against his chest gently. "Lost or Gain, you always have me as a friend. I swear and promise to you. No matter what happens." and she was good on keeping her words. Letting her hair fall lightly into my face, and closing her eyes with hugging him. There was a moment she swore she could of melt into his touch against her frame. And she didn't like for him being uncomfortable or tensed unless he was playing a game with the others in Crux. There was a moment she could of sworn her heart was fluttering in a quick beat, as if she fallen into a rabbit whole. Everything in life was crazy, with its going up and down, and twisting around. For now she didn't want to move, unless Seth wanted her to.
02:27:23 [Seth] "W-What?</>" Oh Gods. Here we go. Total minefield. "<I>Crap, I just blew up, didn't I?" He hadn't realized he said that aloud, but his eyes remain widened like he was watching her crack slightly to the way she thought.. "I-I didn't mean it like that.." His voice even got a little shaky with concern. Yet, when he thought she was going to slip away, she didn the exact opposite. Her arms slid around him, and when she brought her face to his chest he sat still, resting his chin on her head and running his hands up her defining curves. They moved around to her back before working their way back down, rubbing in a hug with their embrace. His lips twitched to her statement. i didn't know what to say to that, but it made him reassemble that smile that was apparently the talk of the halls without him knowing. He relished in the wamrth of the asian Crux, slipping his eyes shut and daring not to move. For the time being, he held her until she found herself ready to let go. "Thank you," he whispered, letting out a small huff. "Maybe I just worry too much. Totally losin' my cool, huh?" She couldn't see it from so close, but his pearly whites returned for all to see, and he chuckled behind that charming grin of his. "Tell you what, at the very least though tomorrow night, if I can get off the stage.. I'll dance with you. Sound groovy?"
02:45:18 [Suki] Hearing him suddenly realize what he had done, the desperate talk she had taken that step at the last minute to ask someone. And was kind of turn down, but there was a reason after all. He was the band for that night. Which wasn't that bad, she loved his music. To feel his arms moving to rub her curves in a light caress to rest around her frame. A sigh touched her lips, it was really a relief cause he hadn't moved to let her go. The whisper of 'Thank you' from him in whisper was refreshing. Knowing that he was alright with what she had said, opening her soft brown eyes. Tilting her head to look up toward him. "You lose more then that, if your head wasn't attached when you worry so much." giggling. As she would noticed that smile upon his lips. It was good to see it again, "A dance sounds good, I'll even get up on Stage to dance with you. If you let me." a light smile once more touching her lips. Giving him a light squeeze, "Um.. but I kind of got to get one thing off my mind first." what was she planning to do? Leaning away from the hug, biting her lower lip for a moment. Taken a deep breath, to exhale.. Suki would move her hands from around him, and lightly placing her soft hands upon his cheeks. It was when she pulled his face closer to her own, "If you don't like it, well them I'm sorry." she spoke within that moment. Soon she would lean up pressing her lips against Seth's lips, gently and sweet against his own lips for the moment. Before she would pull her lips away from him, blushing as she would look down now biting her lower lip again. As she became slightly nervous.
03:06:52 [Seth] Seth pulled his head back when he felt Suki shift below his chin, looking down at her face. Why would he reject an offer to dance on stage with him. "You'll have to bust your own moves cause I'll be using my guitar most of the night, but I won't mind if you jump up there." The young man got lost though, when she mentioned that she had another thing on her mind. He felt her lean away from him, blinking slowly. "Umm.. what is--" Seth was hushed when hands took hold of his cheeks, Her soft hands with met with his eyes already half-closing. They were soft to the touch, just like her lips when they found his. If it hadn't been for his experience on Christmas, he probably would've disappointed Suki with his reaction to it. The position was similar. Thinking back to it, it didn't seem much harder compared to a kiss with a lemon wedge in your mouth. Her lips however, should they of only wanted a peck, would be given much more than that. He was only shown one way of how to 'kiss' somebody. His mouth parted, precisely as he turned his head to better angle the approach, but his tongue would lull out and run smoothly over Suki's bottom lip, before lips sealed over and returned the kiss. He had leaned in slightly, ready to go deeper, if it hadn't been for Suki pulling away as quick as she did. Still, even the smallest kiss to Seth was an intense sensation he wasn't quite used too yet. Overwhelming, and yet extraordinary enough to dive in when he got the chance. He quickly drew a breath in and relaxed, watching Suki bite down her lip. He certainly hoped he hadn't disappointed her in that area either. Otherwise, what kind of boyfriend would he wind up being one day? He blinked again, licking his lips and finally taking his eyes off her to look at the floor whle he slid down to stand on his own two feet again. He didn't quite know what to say at that point.
03:19:10 [Mila] There would never be a moment when, with the weather fine, and hours yet until lights out demanded obedience, that she would seclude herself indoors. The evening meal was yet to come, and with classes long since concluded, habit placed the girl on the field of the Coliseum. Surrounded by fairly empty stone benches and with only a few others taking advantage of the barely attended stadium, Mila only wished to play. Clad in standard issue navy shorts, snug and fitting to her svelte form like a second skin, while the shirt con straining the swell of her breasts and slim waist did much of the same. Perhaps a little too small for the lithe lass but then, it was likely an old outfit – one she should have replaced a few years passed, after growing those hindering breast-things. The minx had her own durusball – as lightweight as a true soccer ball, only enduring and imperishable in the face of fire, frost and impossible force. It was marked with the Highlander's logo, the Scot' team the Australian residing in England strangely supported with obsessive abandon. Sport, athleticism and competitive love for the field brightened her striking orbs of crystalline. Cherry-stained lips were temptingly ajar, tongue skimming over the lower while her chest raised and fell with each, laboured breath. Sleek locks of sable were commonly unbound, hindering her vision only momentarily until a huffed breath blew it endearingly from the exotic beauty of her countenance. Never one to remain still, she canted her head with a coy grin and the infectious sprite was darting off into an immediate sprint. Limber, quick and small, there were few who could catch her. Mila swept past Jed who was in heated pursuit, kicking the ball in the humane novelty of soccer, weaving in and out.
03:23:37 [Suki] Seth had actually surprised Suki honestly, when he kissed her back. His tongue tease her lips for the moment before it had been sealed. She could of sworn he had taken her breath away within that moment even. It was just god she had wanted to kiss him again, if she had gotten the chance of course. Licking her lips as she knew what she would or might be looking forward to later on. If she got the guts up and ask him. But no it was too soon right? Letting out a soft breath, and soon she would look up toward him. Since he was now standing on his own two feet. She was inches away from his body once more, "Well I can admit, I like the feel of your lips. And that kiss of yours." speaking softly. For she had felt it was the right time to speak after all. Her hand came up to brush her hair out of her face, those rich brown eyes of hers. Focus on Seth, it was due to some lingering thoughts. But she knew that some D-Ball practices was suppose to come up. She was a cheerleader for them. She had strength of course, but she wasn't into dealing with a ball. "So um... Seth, want to get some air. Perhaps walk toward the fields?" she was trying to make the moment less awkward then it already was.
03:32:19 [Seth] One had to admit, despite Seth's uncanny skill, he was still for the most part blind to other areas. Like how to explain how he got that talent for example. The compliment Suki gave him was met with a grin, and quite an enthusiastic chime. "Really? Thanks! Mila, Erinn, and their friend Caly taught me!" Yup. No shame at all. Or maybe he just didn't know when to not discard too much information. Mila, Suki more than likely at least knew by name as another housemate of their year. All the years Seth followed her around too. The question reminded him of several things. Not only had he forgotten about his plans to work on strengthening his wings, but durusball practice may of been in order with the Coliseum ready to be used again! "Yeah, that sounds great. I think I should get my ball and practice on my juggling, anyway. The season's coming up and I gotta be ready to help win first this year. I don't want to have to settle for second again like last year.," he said, grabbing his bag and slinging it over one shoulder. "I gotta head up to the dorm though to change and get my ball. I'll see you down there?" he asked with a warm smile, walking around Suki and starting for the door. Before she knew it, he was gone. He just broke into a jog before exiting her sight, aiming to make his journey into a hurry.
03:50:29 [Suki] •|Blinking at him a moment, it was mostly when he mention all girls that taught him how to kiss. There was a light feel of jealousy feeling come over her, at least she knew how not to show it even then. As she would give him a smile of course, no there wasn't a reason to be jealous. It wasn't like they were dating or anything... Letting a soft breath out, hearing him talking about getting his ball. Nodding toward him with a smile. "Oh yeah, you got to do that. Be the best and beating the other houses this year." as she would let her thoughts leave her right now. As she would move toward the door a moment, "I'll meet you down there." as she watched him leave. A faint frown touch her lips for a moment, before shaking it off. Went along her way, to leave the Great Hall. It was time she head out and head toward the Coliseum fields. Once she was outside, she would take a light breath. Soon her wings would slide from her back, the tattoo against her back was gone. But her wings were out and open to stretch. Taken a light stroll down the way, as she would take her time to get down there. Due to Seth might catch up.
03:52:18 [Jakey] The boisterous laughter which accompanied a group of guys ensued, among them the distinguished and hearty chortle of Jake Connolly resounded. The usual pack of wolves which sauntered through Hex’s halls had come together, their intention was to lose themselves in a game of Durusball, prepping themselves for the fast approaching season. “So Jake, got any plans for tomorrow?” One of the Magnus boys asked, youthful curiosity and genuine interest lining his words. “Jakey boy? Who became your conquest this year? Not getting another card from your mum again are you?” Charlie would tease, earning himself a swift jab to the arm. “Such a comedian. I was actually thinking of sending your mum a card Charles.“ He retorted coolly. The joke was harmless, the pair being far too familiar with one another to let such jibes escalate. “I have a few tricks up my sleeve.“ The young Casanova had always been known to be quite the charmer, not singling any girls out at Hex, replying to the flood of valentines cards he received, spreading the love as fairly as possible…and at an arm’s length. This year would be different, having taken a peculiar interest in his studies, most unlike the Were, he had been practicing to prepare for something very special he had in mind. The true nature of his plot was hidden from his friends, hoping to escape further jokes at his own expense, even if they were in good humour. The journey to the coliseum wouldn’t take long, the entourage clad in the usual physical education attire, sporting their player jerseys to shield brawny bodies from the light lick of spring wind, the vicious bite of winter barely lingering. It was no surprise to see others at the field, two notable faces, Jer and her. The group filling out, Jake approached the pair, his sudden absence earning a smirk from the confided in Charlie. “No amount of practice will prepare you for this season, Tritus has it in the bag.“ An upnod to Mila issued, both a greeting and a request for the ball slender legs danced with. “Up for a game?“ Playful competitiveness present, Jake was eager to run, to jump and let loose.
04:06:04 [Seth] [ It took some time, but after nearly half an hour or so to walk up to the Crux dorms and change, the evening breeze caught the wings of the angelic fae. In flight, trained wings beat hard against the force of the wind, propelling his body forward until feathered appendages lined up and angled downward. He came gliding down at an alarming speed in the night, his velocity heard on the wind around those at the Coliseum. When the fae finally entered the light he suddenly pulled up moments before he could crash into the earth, lifting several feet off the ground and then lowering safely. Spike beneath his kleets set into the soil, long socks and shin guards tucked under them fitted appropriately to his calves. His uniform issue shorts blew loosely on the breeze that carried him here, while wings flapped majestically before they vanished in his own shadow. He wore the Crux colours with pride, and his dreads, though tied back, were pulled up into that constricting tail. They were in a loose knot, draping behind his shoulders. Resting between his forearm and hip was a durusball, though much more worn and riddled with use and experience. Though some of the colours were faded, you could still make out the emblem of the earlier champions of the late prior decade: The Roman Emperors. He stood just off to the side from Mila, though his hazel hues rested on the group that had gathered. He kept a smile on, but knowing well when he saw another team in gear, it only meant they were out to play as well. Seth had his ears caught on the wind on his descet however, and hadn't heard the question of a game being raised. "S'up?" he asked, looking around the lot.
04:12:37 [Mila] Her head was thrown back as infectious laughter left her, innocent pleasure had with each competitive and light-hearted remark that slipped between her and Jed. “Gonna catch me? C'mon puppy, come and get me.” She ducked beneath the swipe of his well placed arm, so close that she felt the skim of air above her head. Mila squealed in unison, and leant forward to continue her run about him – intending to wear the Were out, of course. “Close – not close enough. Here boy! Here boy!” Now, from her peripheral vision she spied the approach of Jake, resident playboy and her greatest rival and most persistent of challengers. Unable to resist, the girl allowed Jed to take his leave. He'd had enough chasing of his tail and was of the mind to chase another kind of tail before the evening meal would sound. With that, he departed. Left with Jake and his friends, Mila was prey among predators, but this femme had admirable prowess on the field and confidence in her ability. Practise and precision were a recipe for perfection. Ever the unknowing temptress, she delivered him the ball with a humane and slow kick. Bending down, dainty hands resting at mid thigh while her head took to a cant in a veil of sable. Coy smile, eyes dipping from her opponent to the ball and back again. “Where you gonna go?” She spoke in a purr, taunting him with every expression. “This way?” She leant to the left with a wave shift of her hips. “Over here?” Again, to the right. “C'mon Wonderboy, what's it gonna be?” Defence! Defence! Without intending to play so low, Mila was quite the distracting minx. The old uniform was provocatively placed on her, the bend in her stance easily causing a youthful man's mind to wander. Hair sporting evidence of rough and tumble, the sink of her teeth into that plush, sweet lip. Even the way she was panting from the earlier sprint with Jed. Why, one could only commend Jake if he'd manage to keep his mind in the game. With the arrival of Seth, the girl spared him only a sidelong glance – unwilling to risk a loss at the distraction, if even of a friend and team-mate. Inclining her head in Charlie's direction, the femme dared to suggest “Shall we make it fair?” Two verses two.
04:17:47 [Suki] Movement was grace and she was thinking as she walked down that way. Her wings would shift and begin to flap. It wasn't long before she was moving to take flight upon the air, with her long hair drapped off to the side. A smile teasing her lips now as she was getting closer toward the fields. It was due to she caught who was taken a flight down there, Seth had to stretch his wings out of course. She knew he wasn't the best when they started years ago. So working the wings with the wind, always helped out. The soft velvet wings of hers moved, the gliding upon the wind. It wouldn't take her long to land upon the stands watching. She giggled when she saw who was all out there. Relaxing her wings, as they begun to fold and form into her back once more. The tattoo would begin to show against her back, as if the ink was restored and caressing along her skin. "You guys can beat him." as she cupped her hands around her lips. Calling out toward Mila and Seth, smiling as she lower her hands again. What could she say, she was a cheerleader for the Crux end of story.
04:35:23 [Jakey] Not just one Crux player had graced Jake with their presence of the field, shortly after the playful exchange between the Were and Seer, another of the soon to be beaten team mates had joined them. The gold etchings of their school name and the house he belonged to merely brought out the equally as glistening flecks in sepia hues, gaze watching the cat and mouse chase between Jed and Mila. A one track mind, all too easily distracted, he had taken noticed of the uniform snuggling tightly about the curvature of the Seer’s body, wicked thoughts furthering the mischievous hint to his white toothed grin. The ball rolled across the green, naturally caught between his regularly worn sneakers, the pigskin passed between each foot, kicked into the air only to be caught beneath the sole of his shoe. The flashy juggling was not needed but forever a showman, Jake never let an opportunity slip by in which he could show off, not his most desirable trait but the spotlight was all too tempting. As the Seer leaned into one direction, teasing tone escaping full lips as she goaded him, chiselled cheekbones accentuating his grin. “Left or right? Both sides equally as tempting.“ He paused, lamenting on just how he would like to take on his sable haired opponent, the pause however would be brief, for he then moved. Dashing towards the Seer, ball urged to move by accompanied kicks, the choice fell upon him once more, left or right…he chose neither. Flicking the ball up between two feet, it flicked into the air, rising above the girl’s head and landing behind her, Jake danced around her, tempted eyes catching her own perhaps startled gaze for a moment before he caught the ball upon its descent. “Can’t be falling for tricks like that, I thought you Seer’s could see everything.“ An overestimation but he quipped all the same. The arrival of her team mate and the hasty glance to Charlie had summoned him to his side. Fae and Seer versus the two wolves. “Two on two? I don’t like those odds, you need more.“ A brisk smugness lighting his features, he passed the ball towards the recently arrived Seth. “Your move.“ His attention turning from Seth, to Mila, to those shorts she wore which he had been quickly becoming fond of.
04:50:08 [Seth] Whatever Seth found himself in for, he was at least in for something to shake the evening up. A match-up? Two on two? With Mila on his side, he didn't really see much of a downside. He cast a sidelong glance to her right back, nodding solemly and chucking his seasoned durusball off to the side. The competition was heavy in the air with the crowd that weres that outnumbered the Crux, but it didn't faze Seth. He had no reason to feel any of their cold glares a threat. Maybe in the past, but after he finally fit into the Hex social world over the holidays, these guys knew his name, and given his previous season records, they knew he was good at what he did. When the ball was rolling his way, Seth didn't seem to make a break for it. His foot shifted, toe catching the ball on the underside and lopping it up towards his stomach. A quick push with his abdomen and a lift of his leg were all it took to put the ball in motion, hopping from one knee to the armor. Several juggles and then the ball dropped down. Seth put out his foot, and caught the sphere between his toes and his leg, pressing up into it to keep it from slipping out of the trick. He may not of been an offensive player in recent seasons yet, but as the team's midfielder he excelled more at the art of stealing the ball, and handling it well enough to let it go untouched to advancers like Mila. "You know, you can talk all you want after we win, but nobody's going to win nothin' if we're just going to chat over here." Seth presented a smirk, before he kicked his leg up to set the ball up in the air. Then, with a quick crouch and a leap up, the Crux twirled his body near horizontally and three-sixty degrees, whirlwinding. The leg with momentum behind it launched the ball airborne and out into the field. Passed midfield, and bouncing towards the Tritus' goal. He would've muttered something to declare the start of the matchup, like game on. But, seeing as they were playing with the alleged dogs of Hex, there was only one word that could elevate their spirit enough to play some ball. "Fetch."
"Fetch."
